Gary Johnson, DVM Dr. Gary Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary science from the University of Minnesota. He then spent some time breeding, training, and showing World Champion horses and race horses before beginning veterinary school. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1994 and has been practicing in this area ever since. Dr. Gary is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Whitetails of Wisconsin Association, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has participated in research on the causes of infertility in the horse. He enjoys traveling, going to scouting events with his son Brandon, and walking in the woods in his spare time. |

Erika Doescher, DVM Dr. Erika Doescher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2003 and has been practicing in this area ever since. Dr. Erika is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter Ashtyn. Erica Esser, DVM Dr. Erica Esser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and natural resource management from Cornell University. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2008. She is the newest member to the Corriente team. Dr. Esser is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has published an article on bone loss in human dialysis patients, researched parasites in bighorn sheep, as well as pregnancy in mares. She enjoys cross-country skiing with her dog Hannah, biking, and cooking.
